Architecture serves as a medium for human behavior, reflecting the impact of totalitarian ideological control on society. I try to describe the individual codes of conduct and laws of survival within such a social system. The aim is to understand how the exercise of power by those in authority can shape the mindset of the governed.

Durkheim's concept of 'Anomie' and Foucault's 'Discipline' fail to fully capture the transformative power of those in positions of authority. Instead, the concept of biopolitics, which refers to the governance of the population by the state and the control of life, emerges as a more comprehensive framework.

This project seeks to move beyond purely rational theoretical critique and offers a personal perspective on the state, history, and social reality. It delves into introspections on freedom, life, and humanity. By adopting a narrative approach inspired by Solzhenitsyn's "Один день Ивана Денисовича (One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich)," the project presents the capital of the Nazi regime, Germania, as an architectural representation. Germania symbolizes the ideal capital envisioned by totalitarians under the dictatorship.

Had Germany emerged victorious in World War II, after 1945, Germania would have become a super-metropolis, accommodating over 10 million people. It was intended to be the most densely militarized and industrialized city in the world. Additionally, plans were proposed for the construction of relevant complexes to further enhance the new Berlin, including "the People's Commune" which had not been proposed at that time.

BACKGROUND

The 2008 subprime mortgage crisis had a profound impact on various parts of the world, leading to increasing turmoil. During the last decade, the multipolarity of countries appeared to be eroding, reminiscent of the calm before a storm. Drawing from the perspective of quantum mechanics, the Copenhagen School posits that microscopic particles exist in a superposition of different states until observed, at which point they collapse into a definite state. Extending this concept to the macroscopic world, it foreshadows a parallel time and space, hinting at the potential apocalypse of 'the future of the past.'
